Hello! I’m Schoodic but everyone calls me Scoots. I am a 5 ½ year old Shih Tzu! I met my Mom when I was just 8 weeks old. She came to Jacksonville to get me from my breeder and I knew then that she was the perfect lady for me! Its just my parents and me in the house, I’m an only child but my BFF (Best Furry Friend) is my cousin Sadie. She's a standard Goldendoodle but I don’t mind I can tussle with her tall self. I also love to play with my other cousin Poppy. She's a mini Goldendoodle puppy who is almost 1 ½ years old. I am showing her the ropes and teaching her some manners, some good some, well... I am a mama's girl of course! One of my most favorite past times is going under Mom's bed and taking a nap. It's so peaceful under there.

I love going on adventures with my Mom. They call me a 'snow bird' but I don't get it cause I'm a dog. In the summer time we take trips to Maine and it is so much fun. My Mom wanted to make sure that I had lots of friends and good dog manners but since I was born during the COVID pandemic Mom had to find an alternative way to socialize me than the dog park. That is when she found A Dog's Life. I love that place. All of the staff are amazing but Mrs. Maren is the BEST in my opinion. Whenever I hear Mom say "Do you want to see Maren" I get so excited and come running!
